LIVINGBLOSSOMS

Well, technically, its already Thursday as I write this. But here's what happened today(Wed) anyway.

1) Went for my medical check-up at the UPM PK. Didn't have to pay anything since UPM is sponsoring me (jimat 100 ringgit!). Asked for an extra copy of the report + x-ray for Kent. Found out I had grown taller by 3 cm (wtf?was I not supposed to stop growing taller by 21 or something?), have perfect eyesight (sbb pakai contacts, mmg la perfect kan?) and was fit as a fiddle. The young doctor (nampak mcm fresh grad je) asked me if I had any fake teeth (=_=") and poked me for half an hour, trying to find my kidneys (ouch!). Took me all morning to get everything settled although I kept thinking about that fake teeth question and its relevancy in a medical check-up. And for those who are still wondering, I don't have fake teeth ok!!!Every original tooth is intact. Hell, I even have a few baby teeth left. wtv.

2) After that, went to collect all the 5 agreements from my penjamins (parents la sape lagi) and saksi, stuck an RM10 setem hasil on each of them and went to LHDN in Hentian Kajang to endorse put them to death (matikan setem-literal translation). Then went to photocopy my IC. Thank god that all that took me about an hour and i headed back to UPM. Isi angin tayar n gas along the way. Noticed that the car badly needed a carwash n wondered what will happen to it when I'm gone. Who will take care of it? Satisfy its need for speed in its never ending search for the perfect racing companion? Who will shower it with water once its fiery red body turns pinkish or take it to the car wash when that fails to improve things? Who?!! *tears roll down face for 3 seconds before realizing that I am actually a pretty bad/dangerous car owner so maybe its for the best*

3) Around 2, I illegally parked at the roadside near the Registrar's office and went up to the third floor. Kak R and I went through all the documents one by one to ensure that there were no mistakes. Actually, I ended up questioning quite a few clauses in the agreement (can't help it- my mind went all legal-crazy) and they had to call up one of the lawyers to clarify. Having satisfied my 'curiosity' (well, not really. they just told me point blank: take it or leave it sistah!), Kak R neatly stacked up my documents and that was that. I had agreed to serve UPM for 5 years (it could have been worse: uitm wanted 10 years for one year of sponsorship!) after completing my studies in return for 3 years sponsorship. Kak R informed me that I could probably get my allowances by Friday and shooed me out before I could interrogate question her on why Kent was rated C and not B or when was the last time the list was updated etc.

4) On the way back home, the Bendahari called to inform me that my ticket will be ready for pick-up tomorrow (thursday) or latest by Friday.

5) At home, received additional accommodation info that I have to arrive between 9am to 1pm as the office will be open for registration only during that time. Also surveyed for transport from the airport to kent. Called up granny n aunty in kelantan to say bye-bye before I forget yet again. Now, babbling all this here when I should be sleeping.

And what are my plans for Thursday?

- Settle the income tax waiver (borang sgt complicated n pening nak isi n kaler bright orange.benci)

- Finish the enrollment process (been delaying because I'm so lazy to scan a passport pic)

- Go to Czip Lee and buy stationary (sejak keje ni tak penah beli stationary)

- Lunch with AG peeps! Lama sungguh tak jumpe so can't wait!

- Evening- pick-up ticket if dah siap

- Night- email the supervisors to update n make an appointment *gulp*

Hmm...agak ambitious jugak nak finish all those things. Hopefully will be able to do all of them coz Friday is a short day yg akan di penuhi dengan gelak ketawa farewell parties (note: parties) at Williams and Mines, and persediaan for a small kenduri this saturday (details will be dished out later).

Ok, I really need some sleep now, or else will wake up with nasty panda eyes tomorrow. Bye.
