LIVINGBLOSSOMS

My newest obsession is Glee. In fact, I'm now what everyone calls a "gleek". After puking through the 3 high school musical 'movies', I was initially very skeptical of musicals concerning american high school kids dancing in their hallways and classrooms. But Glee changed that. I now look forward to see them belt out numbers, smash car windows, throw slushi at the loser kids and whatever else these american hormone-ridden teens do at school. Glee is everything HSM should have been- meatier with a diverse cast with real vocal chops (unlike baby V *cringe*). The songs and choreography = fantastic, with classics like Journey's 'Don't stop believing' and  Wicked's 'Defying Gravity" to Kanye's 'Gold Digger' and 'The Thong Song'.

It does help that there's a super-cute teacher (who looks barely past college), the Shues-ter, with a voice like melted buttermilk cookies and the moves of a 16 year-old. His store-permed hair, emerald eyes and lithe bod really makes you wonder why your teachers never looked like that. It would definitely make learning fun.I mean, if I had a teacher like that during high school, I think it would cause a massive riot-hysteria, probably ending up with something burning, ripped clothing, a couple locks of shimmering red hair and JAWI officers. Nasty, but fun.

Anywayyy, Glee is pretty darn good. For HSM haters and lovers alike, this series will make you wanna dance and sing till the cows come home. You get to see Josh Groban (hilarious!) and soon- Adam Lambert guest starring. You get to see a gay boy (and his team) kicking the pigskin to the tune of single ladies (reminds me of a certain GayJoBro). You get to see a blond Juno (president of the celibacy club?!), a Mohawked Jew boy toy (meoww) and Asians (Big Gasp!). You get teachers who deal marijuana and have so much personality disorders between them that you wonder how these kids are learning anything at all. Really.

Just go and watch an episode or two, and you'll be hooked for sure. If you don't like it, something is seriously wrong with you. Just sayin'.

But ..I also smell a rat somewhere in this issue. Remember V for Vendetta? Hmm...good movie. You guys should watch it and wonder why its banned here. Wtv.
