You know whats worse than having to rush all over the campus to book my ticket, get my agreement forms and photocopy tons of stuff ? Its when you have to teach a two hour class, filled with science students, about common law and equity. I was given a day to prepare the slides and to prepare myself mentally, since its been about 6 years since I last studied that stuff and it was my first time teaching.

I'm happy to report that I managed. Quite splendidly, I think. My ticket has been booked (3rd February), my agreement is on my desk (a lot of writing to be done tonight) and the class went really well, despite the fact that the Dean was sitting at the back watching me like a hawk. Oh, and I accidentally pointed my laser pointer in the dean's eye (thank god he wore glasses!), stumbled a bit on the riparian rights part (I kept saying reptilian) and called the students "korang" a few times (more than 20 times) but aside from that, my first teaching experience was awesome!! They (dean included) had tons of questions although their unusual (and unhealthy) interest about marriage/divorce laws was kinda weird.

Overall, I'm pooped. I slept at 4 last night, finishing those slides and my mom keeps nagging asking me to pack my bag already. All I want to do is rest but I can't. My mom's right, I have about a week left and I have to rush, rush, rush!
